July 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Canadian citizens will need a valid visa to visit, do business or work in Vietnam. Get Vietnam Visa on Arrival at www.smiletravelvietnam.com (collecting at Vietnam International Airport on arrival)

- Issuing unit: Vietnam Immigration Department
- Processing time: 1 working day for urgent request and 2-3 days for normal request.
- Processing service fee: 19– 34 USD/person (stamping fee NOT included)
- Without Passport requirement
- How to get it? You go online at http://www.smiletravelvietnam.com/travelvietnam/vietnamVisa.aspx, fill in the secure form, and just wait 1-2 days until you receive your Visa Approval Letter, and take this + your passport + 2 photos to Vietnam to get your visa at airport. This seems to be the cheapest and easiest way to get a visa to Vietnam from Canada.

At this moment, Visa on arrival is the quickest and cheapest way to get a Vietnam visa if you travel by air. In addition, it is very secure and convenient. Further information can be found at http://www.smiletravelvietnam.com/visa/vietnam-visa-tourist

The requirement is the same for everybody. To get a visa, if your travel agent didn't help you, you will need to contact the Consulate General of Vietnam in your country. I found that the easiest way is to go to their website (perform a google search, but be careful of services that want to help you get your visa. You don't need them, you can do it yourself directly with the consulate). There you can find the visa application, the directions, and contact information in case you have specific questions. This is usually found under the "Consulate services" section.

Recently, April 16th, I returned from the USA and picked up my visa at the airport. It was easy and fast and I loved the service. I am an expat living in Hoi An and have had many hassels over the years with visas. Getting a 6 month work visa was a pain to say the least and this new service is great. I recieved a 1 year multible entry B3 visa and it was no problem in any sense. Its safe, fast and reasonably price.
Check out the site. Works just fine.
