Remington 25th Anniversary
Remington College will offer complimentary back-to-school haircuts for children this summer. The annual Cuts for Kids event will take place on 11 Remington College campuses with cosmetology programs.
Parents can bring in children ages 17 and under for a complimentary haircut provided by instructors and students at the Remington College cosmetology school located in their community.
The complimentary haircuts are available for a two-week period prior to the start of most schools in each market.
Adults who bring a child in for Cuts for Kids will get 50 percent off select services for themselves, including haircuts, styling and nail care.
Last year Remington College provided nearly 2,000 complimentary haircuts during the first year of the Cuts for Kids event.

“Back to school expenses can really add up,” said Dr. Mike Lanouette, Vice President and Chief Academic Officer for Remington College. “Cuts for Kids is a way for us to help parents save some money and help kids look and feel their best when they go back to school.”
Cuts for Kids is part of Remington College Reaches Out, an effort that includes philanthropy, community involvement and events designed to benefit the communities where Remington College has a campus.
Based in Heathrow, Florida, Remington College offers diploma and degree programs at 20 campuses throughout the United States, including a new online campus. Its mission is to provide career-focused education through a variety of programs, including nursing, cosmetology, business office management and criminal justice.
The Remington College Cosmetology Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training. Students have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon-like setting.
