July 8, 2010 - PRLog -- There is a way to get a copy of this statement without using a credit card and paying for a monthly service of anything. A credit score is something that is used by every lender in the United States and it is a good idea to see what they see.

Aurora Lillo Editor of the "Best Credit Reporting Services" website -- http://www.CreditReportsAndScores.biz -- pointed out;

“...How to get a free Credit Report

The Federal Trade Commission has made it possible for anyone to get a free copy of their credit history from the three major credit bureaus annually; Equifax, Experian and Transunion. If a consumer has been denied a loan recently they can apply for their financial reports throughout the year, but a free history can be obtained once every 12 months. The site annualcreditreport .com is the one site that is authorized to supply a free copy of a statement from each of the three agencies...”

Why Does Anyone Need to See a Financial History?

A financial report is a list of all the creditors an individual has ever had, along with the payment habits, overdue and past payments. It will also have judgments, court actions etc on the report. A statement of accounts is necessary to allow someone to see what major lenders are looking at. There may be an error or false information in the report that may be fixed. There could be possible identity theft; anything is possible that is why everyone needs to see what their statement looks like.

What Lenders and creditors are looking for?

When a lender pulls a statement they are looking for three basic things, the payment record of the individual (how they pay their bills), how they spend money, and what is the relationship of what they earn in relation to what they spend. The creditors look at these patterns and this will determine whether the individual will get a loan or be able to buy a house or a car etc. Financial scores are also looked at ; the guidelines are anything under 660 is considered not so good, under 719 is considered fair, and anything over 720 is considered good. Most people fall into the fair to good scenario.

Conclusion

“...Getting a free report of financial practices is possible to receive on an annual basis from the three major reporting agencies. Everyone should see exactly what is on their report to avoid identity theft, bogus information and information that should be removed from their statement...” added A. Lillo.
