The two winners - Kate Bainbridge (owner of Simply Flowers in Devon) and Caroline Crabb (of Fleurtations in Cornwall) - were presented with a Silver Gilt and a Silver respectively, in the Florist of the Year category. The florists had never competed at the show before, and had never even attended, yet their winning parasols were deemed two of the best from thirteen on display, and were allowed to meet with the assessment panel to receive feedback, and perhaps even valuable tips, should they choose to enter next year's event.
Simply Flowers and Fleurtations are just two of the 1400+ florists on eFlorist's network, which covers the UK and can also deliver to over 140 countries in the world.
"We are thrilled for the two winners," says Ian Brett of eFlorist. "They both worked very hard on their fantastic parasols, and were delighted that this was recognised by the judges. Their knowledge, experience and overall skill is indicative of the high-quality florists we have on our network, which offers a vast range of flowers online, to suit all homes, tastes and occasions. Kate and Caroline did a fantastic job, and we are sure that they will only go from strength to strength, as we have done."
