HR Professionals and Job Seekers Have New Blog Dealing with their Concerns

July 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Hurwitz Strategic Staffing is pleased to announce the launch of its new blog, Employment Edification, designed to deal with practical real-life matters of concern to human resource professionals and job seekers.  The website is http://hsstaffing.wordpress.com/.  The blog will be written by HSS President and CEO Dr. Bruce Hurwitz.  All visitors to the site will be able to post comments.  "That's the point of it all," Hurwitz says.  "We want the blog to be a site for the HR community and job seekers to voice concerns."

Three postings have already been written:

The first,"Changing Sectors: Moving from the Corporate World to the Non-Profit," addresses the issue faced by many presently unemployed corporate professionals who feel that the non-profit sector may hold the key to their future career happiness.

In "Russian Spies and HR Concerns," HSS president and CEO, Dr. Bruce Hurwitz, uses the recent espionage case to show the issues facing employers considering hiring foreign nationals with only overseas employment histories.

"Illegal Interview Questions," addresses the issue of what to do when asked an illegal question and how HR professionals can legally obtain the information they need.

Hurwitz welcomes not only comments by readers, but suggestions for topics which can either be posted on the blog or e-mailed to blog@hsstaffing.com.
