PMForum named Media Partner for PMI Research & Education Conference 2010 in Washington, DC in July

July 1, 2010 - PRLog -- Dallas, Texas, USA — PMForum announced today that it has been named a “Media Partner” for the PMI® Research & Education Conference 2010, which will take place from 11-14 July 2010 at the Gaylord National Hotel & Conference Center in Washington, DC, USA.  PMI’s biennial research conference, which now incorporates educational topics, has been expanded this year to accommodate up to 500 participants.  For information about the event, click here.

The PMI Research & Education Conference brings together scholars, senior practitioners and students of project management and related fields of study.  It provides opportunities for presenting and discussing new project management research findings and teaching methods.  This year’s event will include over 60 paper presentations and discussion sessions, along with keynote speeches, networking sessions and pre-conference workshops

The PMI Research & Education Conference 2010 will include four days of workshops, presentations and discussions by and for academic leaders and researchers in the fields of project, portfolio and program management.  Plenary presenters will include Lisa Lahey, PhD of Harvard University; Kathleen Eisenhardt, PhD of Stanford University; and Charles Pellerin, PhD NASA (retired).  The conference will also be preceded on Sunday, 11 July, by a Global Accreditation Center (GAC) Academic Forum and a PMI Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.)
