Business Leader Magazine’s Triangle, NC Edition provides critical local market intelligence to CEOs and other business leaders. Published monthly since 1989, the magazine covers the companies, leaders and business happenings in the Triangle region of North Carolina.
Rice Law was honored June 24 at an awards dinner in Raleigh.
"Rice Law’s selection as #53 on the Business Leader Magazine Top 100 NC Small Business list reflects our proven ability to invest in the future of our clients, our community, and our staff," said Mark Spencer Williams, attorney and Managing Member of Rice Law. "We hold the values of fairness, honesty, respect, assets, and family values first and foremost, whether working face-to-face or online through the secure Rice Law Virtual Law Office.”
Williams continues, “We are especially proud of giving back to the community by offering free legal services to create personalized Advanced Health Care Directives and Living Wills at the New Hanover Relay for Life." These documents are important if you cannot communicate your health choices due to physical or mental incapacity; the documents state your medical wishes and may designate a person other than the attending physician to communicate on your behalf.
Less than six legal firms were named to the Top 100 North Carolina Small Businesses by Business Leader Magazine. The list is comprised of firms with 100 employees or less that do the majority of their business in North Carolina. Each company's one-year and five-year revenue growth, business achievements, and community involvement were evaluated during the selection process.
“The mark of a true business leader is a firm that invests in its own future, its people and its community,” says Business Leader Publisher Bob Friedman. “In the past year Rice Law hit the mark.”
