Jim Coleman Honda Announces Successful 2010 Motorcycle Ride for SIDS

June 30, 2010 - PRLog -- The Jim Coleman Honda auto dealer staff is pleased to announce that the 2010 Motorcycle Ride for SIDS charity event held on Saturday, June 26, 2010, was an overwhelming, runaway success.  Over $5,000 was raised to benefit the Center for Infant and Child Loss (Maryland SIDS Program).  Jim Coleman Honda was proud to be a leading sponsor of this worthy event for the third consecutive year.

This charity motorcycle ride began at Harley Davidson of Elkridge, Maryland, and navigated 95 miles on winding country roads, finishing at Daniels Restaurant in Elkridge.  Registration began at 9:00 AM and the ride officially commenced at 10:30 AM.  Participation cost $25 for drivers and $15 for riders.  This fee included food and soft drinks, DJ, and entry into drawings for gift certificates for local restaurants, LoJack for Motorcycles, and other numerous prizes and gifts.

The Center for Infant and Child Loss (CICL) works with families and communities in Maryland facing the sudden and unexpected death of their infant or child as they learn to live with their loss.  The CICL works to increase the understanding of sudden infant and child death, risk reduction practices, grief, and compassionate intervention.  Located in Baltimore, Maryland, the CICL is funded in part by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
