Mixology wins Best New Spa Product – BMEX 2010

June 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Bajan Beauty Enterprises, the company who manufactures Mixology Products recently took home the award for Best New Spa Product at BMEX 2010.

This year Mixology showcased a new soap called Coconut Sugarcake Soap, made with brown sugar and flakes of toasted coconut. This exfoliating bar smells exactly like a Barbadian Confectionery called Sugarcake. Vistors to the booth oohed and ahhhed at its similarities to the real thing. Also showcased was a new body exfoliant called Sun and Sea Body Polish made with sea kelp, dead sea salt and cane sugar crystals. This scrub has a gel texture and this makes it dual purpose; on dry feet, it is rough enough for a foot scrub, but wet the skin and it becomes a gentle, hydrating body polish mild enough to use on the skin every day.

Creative Director and the woman behind Mixology, Monique Welch, was on hand to receive the award. She was elated! With a big smile she said “We were up against a 10 year veteran in the industry who created an entire line from Pomegranate and Breadfruit and we are so thrilled that we won! We make such an effort to provide quality products and it was great to be recognized by the Manufacturer’s Association, unfortunately, we don’t know which product won because every booth was judged but we have no idea who the judges were. This award confirms what we knew all along, that we make great products and we will continue to do so. This is just the beginning!”

When asked what we can expect from the line, Ms. Welch smiled and said “There’s always something new in the mix! We’ve had such a great response from the spas that we are in the process of making a collection just for them!”
