Canadian singer/songwriter Cat Forsley has decided to donate a percentage of sales revenue from her latest EP ‘Unconditional’
Cat Forsley, who was born with a genetic vision disability, became a member of the organization last year. She has struggled with limited vision her entire life, but has adapted and overcome the challenges associated with blindness, and she wishes to become a champion for people with vision loss. “CNIB is a fantastic organization and I’m very passionate about bringing awareness, financial support, and hope to the many members who receive assistance from CNIB. My dream is to become a spokesperson and to become more involved with their outreach programs that involve music”, Says Forsley.
One of the many CNIB programs that caught Cat’s attention is ‘The i Factor contest’, which involves musicians and singers with vision loss from across Canada. Ten finalists will participate in professional training sessions and compete for a spot in the spectacular live finale in Toronto, Ontario.
Cat signed a multi-year, multi-album deal with Bombardier Records in 2010 and her latest EP is being distributed worldwide. Chris Gardner, President of Bombardier Records said “We are extremely pleased to be donating to CNIB and fully support Cat’s involvement with this great organization.”
