The most glamorous celebrity in the house was a What rather than a Who: the New York Yankees 2009 World Series Trophy was on display, thanks to Yanks CEO Lon Trost. Also on hand to show his support was former catcher Joe Pignatano.
Scandaglia, whose grandfather Frank Gallinaro died of ALS in 1990, has helped raise over $18,330 for the ALS Association Greater NY Chapter in the last four years, including $7480 for the Bocelli event alone.
"I am really pleased to have raised so much money, and proud of the dinner we had this year,” said Scandaglia, a licensed account manager for the Steven Schneider Allstate Agency at 1254 Prospect Avenue in Brooklyn. “Having the World Series trophy at my fundraiser really brought a touch of elegance to the already special event."
