Birmingham, AL - Prime Management Services, an association management company, today announced the conclusion of the “Come Care and Camp With Us Weekend” fund raising campaign for the KOA Care Camps program. The campaign raised over $250,000 over the Memorial Day weekend, and will be used to distribute over $345,000 raised in 2010 to 43 cancer camps in the United States and Canada. These funds help run camping experiences for over 5,000 children with cancer. This total was a record for the program.
Prime Management Services also indicated that they have assisted the Care Camps program raise over $1,000,000 over the past 6 years. KOA Care Camps receives most of their funds from different fund raising activities and events aimed at obtaining donations from campers staying at KOA Campgrounds in the US and Canada.
KOA Care Camps is a tax deductible non-profit charity that raises money to provide camping experiences to children suffering from cancer and their families.
