PRLog -- Trinidadian Star Esssence sells out CD’s, makes music videos, knows Hollywood’s “A List” by first names, and feeds the Homeless. “Right now I'm in the studio doing a dance track with the guy who sings the hit song I Like to Move it! I am also working with the producer is from Trendsettaz he is doing a wicked dance remix to Show Me What You Got! So I have to give back… I feel this is the Time of the Esssence” Those were words spoken at an event many in Brooklyn have come to know as the Feed the Hungry with Esssence Day. It is an Annual event Every Father's Day that for many years has aided the Hungry and destitute of the New York City streets renewing their faith and spirit. Esssence is well known internationally but known only to celebrities and those who have enough money to travel to the exotic locales that she has performed to screaming fans of thousands her Soca hits are a radio mainstay of many caribbean nations and she has received awards for Best International Artist as well as a multitude of Humanitarian awards just recently she was given a medal by the Continental Academy Awards for organizing school supplies and feeding the hungry children of Trinidad, Jamaica and Africa. When discussing her music Esssence remarks “ I do all genres of music…I love to share this gift I’m working on a video now called “Show Me What You Got” for my new American fans I will be shooting at The Apollo and BB Kings…” Essence has worked with well known producers and engineers folks who have worked for Shaggy, Yolanda Adams, Alicia Keys are very familiar with her powerhouse voice known for thrilling live audiences around the world. When speaking of her upcoming cover on Hot Stepz Magazine that will introduce her to American audiences Esssence stated “I’m a firm believer that things happen for a reason…I could definitely tell you that it was in GOD’s plans for us to meet.
