There are thousands of children stolen by child protective services every year because of "confidintial"
Many of these "confidintial informants are neighbors, teachers, doctors, friends, abusive husbands, abusive wives and other professional people. Rarely if at all are calls made by complete strangers. These people never have to face those they accuse of "deprivation, negelct or abuse". Never to they ever have to stand in a court room and say "Yes I saw this happen." The parent accused of these "crimes" are not charged in a criminal court under the criminal statutes, if they were they would be allowed access to the evidence better known as discovery, instead they are forced to stand in front of a family court judge without any availablity to defend themselves. No family is immune to this abuse,greed and corruption of the courts or DFCS.
Child Protective Services targets those who are poor and uneducated they make the easist targets for abuse, intimidation and harrassment. They have no rescourses to hire a compentant attorney and therefore have to rely on a Public Defender who for the most part has no clue how to defend a case of this nature. In all cases the Public Defender doesn't even see the parent until the day of court. They have no meettings and no game plan. It becomes a cattle call.
The poor and uneducated can be corerced into believing that CPS is really their friend who only want to help them get on their feet when in reality they take everything the parent says and uses it against t hem.
The parent can never ever do enough to get their children back. It becomes a shell game of changing caseworkers, changing case plans and impossible tasks. The winners in this shell game is the professional that get a cut of the money Child Protective Services receives from Title IV funding. These professionals include, anger mangement classes, alochol and drug classes, parenting classes, therapy both group and individual. No matter how much a parent goes to these classes they never get through. In many cases the parent is forced to take psychotropic drugs so they don't have the ability to take care of their children.
All of this is under "best interest of the child". It is really in the best interest of CPS and the family court who makes money off the theft of these children under Title IV Funding and Adoption and Safe Families Act.
We are losing our children to abuse by CPS and the legal kidnapping and selling of them. It is time to put a stop to it.
