Coca Cola Enterprises (CCE) Pays Vending Company Six Figure Settlement

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 28, 2010 - Rockaway, NJ (June 28, 2010) – Coca Cola Enterprises (CCE) initiated settlement to resolve the complaint filed by Full Service Vending involving six separate counts, one of them being breach of contract.  

“Although it was a long journey, we consider this a great victory for vending companies nationwide,” said Moti Almakias, President of Full Service Vending, “hopefully, the bottlers will think twice about the way they treat companies that work so hard sell their products.”   “I really think CCE didn’t want to see this played out in court,” Almakias added.

This six figure settlement came about after numerous unsuccessful court-mandated settlement conferences throughout the past two years.  Most settlements such as this involve a confidentiality clause, while this one does not.  John A. Stone of DeCotiis, FitzPatrick & Cole, LLP, represented Full Service Vending in this matter.  The suit was originally filed locally in March of 2006 and then escalated to the federal level shortly thereafter.
