Cleveland Wood and Millwork Fabricator Completes Interior Renovations for Additional KeyBank Offices

June 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Wood Dimensions, Inc. (WDI) fabricator of CUSTOM CABINETRY, WOOD and MILLWORK was chosen to complete interior renovations for additional KeyBank offices in what was formerly the Higbee building.

Headquartered in downtown Cleveland, KeyBank, a division of KeyCorp, is one of America’s largest bank-based financial services companies. The firm’s expansion plans required relocation of 1000 workers from its headquarters to the iconic Higbee building that underwent an extensive renovation, with KeyBank occupying several floors of the historic high-rise complex.

The WDI team designed, fabricated, and installed a handsome, open two story walnut staircase with floor-to-ceiling walnut wall treatments throughout an open office gallery. Restoration of all-wood elevator corridors and door panels were completed featuring existing art deco styles of the 1930s with wood inlays and various stylized wood patterns. Projects also included contemporary-style wood seating areas in the lunchroom, recessed wood ceiling panels housing lighting fixtures throughout the office space, and a new security guard station complete with cabinetry and drawers.
