New 2011 VW Jetta Will Arrive at Performance Volkswagen of Omaha This October

June 25, 2010 - PRLog -- Volkswagen unveiled the all new 2011 Jetta, to arrive at Performance Volkswagen this Fall.

Performance Volkswagen of Omaha is proud to carry to all new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta, arriving to the La Vista showroom this October.  This new model is not just a facelift, but an entire overhaul of the previous model, resulting in attractive and sophisticated style and superior vehicle performance.  The new 2011 Jetta was revealed Tuesday in Times Square, New York City, at what Volkswagen calls an “urban oasis.”  

Klaus Bischoff, the Chief Designer of the 2011 VW Jetta unveiled the new model at the event.  “We are here to reveal a car that delivers the unexpected, great style, sophistication and a surprisingly super price,” said Bischoff.  “It offers a class act driving experience with a spacious, nicely equipped interior and refinement.”

At a starting price around $16,000, the new Jetta offers best in class rear legroom, best in class trunk space and an extended wheelbase for an overall roomier and more comfortable interior.  Adding to the comfort and style of the interior are the intuitive controls and well-arranged instruments.  

There are four engines available on the new Jetta: 2.0L, 2.5L R5, 2.0 TSI and 2.0L TDI.  All engines come standard with a manual transmission, with an automatic optional.  Trim levels available in the U.S. are S, SE, SEL and TDI.

The Jetta’s standard safety features include electronic stability control and tire pressure monitoring, like the previous model, pus even more protections and crash safety improvements.  The equipment package also includes up to six airbags.
