This North Carolina native, raised in New Jersey is a graduate of New York's prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts, earning a degree in Theatre and Makeup. Johnetta, affectionately known as Jett is an actress, singer and comedienne having performed at such notable clubs as Caroline's and Stand Up NY! As a writer and producer, she starred in her one woman show based on the life of the legendary Dinah Washington. Johnetta performed the role made famous by Tony Award Winner, Nell Carter in Ain't Misbehavin' at Atlanta's 14th Street Playhouse. Jett was a recording artist in the UK for Phonogram Records, the London Division of Polygram Records. She has a strong musical theatre background having worked with such industry icons as Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, director/producer Harold Prince and Galt Mcdermot, the composer of Hair! Lake is a writer, producer, director, vocal coach and has even worked as publicist. Jett is also passionate about the beauty industry and knows what it takes on and off stage. She is a makeup artist, hair stylist and image/style consultant. Johnetta has worked with many of the most prestigious cosmetic companies including Lancôme, Ultima ll, Estee Lauder, CLINIQUE, Guerlain, Bobby Brown, Iman, Fashion Fair, Flori Roberts, Shiseido, CLARINS, Mary Kay, IL-Makiage and CLAIROL.
