Rose•Walker Earns Ranking in Chambers USA Among Leading Lawyers

The 2010 edition of Chambers USA ranks Rose•Walker as one of the top commercial litigation firms in Texas.

Chambers USA is compiled by Chambers and Partners, a London-based publisher of guides to the world's leading law firms and lawyers. Additionally, Rose•Walker founding partner Martin Rose and seasoned trial lawyer Ross Cunningham earned recognition based on their work for clients in complex commercial litigation matters.

Mr. Rose’s trial record for 2010 includes a jury verdict and judgment in the amount of $7.3 million on behalf of Dallas-based video game maker MumboJumbo against rival developer PopCap.

In addition, both he and Mr. Cunningham were behind a firm defense win on behalf of L-3 Communications in a trade secrets case against rival defense contractor Lockheed. Last summer, a federal jury in Atlanta awarded Lockheed $37 million in the case and Lockheed’s attorneys asked for an additional $17 million in fees.  This year, however, the judge set aside the jury verdict and ordered a new trial after finding that discovery abuse probably affected the outcome of the jury trial.

Mr. Rose’s trial career spans more than 36 years. A graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, his legal track record includes scores of cases tried in federal and state courts across the country. Mr. Rose focuses his practice on high-risk commercial disputes, intellectual property litigation, personal injury claims and wrongful death cases.
