OSHA Challenge encourages, assists and gives recognition to employers who work towards implementing an exemplary safety and health management system. Dedicated to achieving the highest safety criteria for its employees, Shermco has completed the first of the three highly detailed stages of the program.
“Our employees are exposed to hazards every day, from high voltage equipment to disaster recovery areas,” said Ron Widup, executive vice president of Shermco. “We’re fully dedicated to the safety of our employees and our clients. That is why we’ve submitted to this rigorous voluntary program. Also, electrical safety training is a major part of what we do -- so we hold ourselves to the highest possible standards.”
Presentation of Pilot Stage I of the OSHA Challenge was administrated by Gloria Conway, VPP Coordinator over the North East Texas Area working out of the Dallas Area OSHA office.
