The e-book is based on a series from the popular comic website, where run of the mill Christians ask preposterous questions of the Communion of Saints, such as "Is it a sin to substitute carob for chocolate in one's Lenten fast?" and "Can I ask the priest presiding at our wedding to serenade us during the big kiss?" The book turns the American self-help culture on its head and provides tough love wisdom and wit in an affectionate and humorous format.
"At a difficult time in the Church and in our economic life, humor can be a healthy release," says the mystery author. "It's not an escape but a way to laugh at ourselves and remember that humor may be our second greatest strength."
