June 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Ingenium Charter School, a new tuition-free public school located in Canoga Park is now accepting applications for students in grades K – 4. The school will be opening on September 13, 2010, at a separate secured site adjacent to Columbus Middle School on Elkwood Street at Moorcroft Avenue, in Canoga Park, CA.

Ingenium Charter School is operated by Ingenium Schools, who also manage Barack Obama Charter School in Los Angeles, CA.. The schools will share the same award-winning curriculum, the Re-Inventing Schools Model (RSM). This Model features a learner-centered classroom instead of the traditional teacher-centered classroom.
As a result, students become accountable for their own progress and develop a lifelong pattern for achievement and proficiency.
