Nashville Recording Artist Tammie Davis Announces CD Release Party!

June 22, 2010 - PRLog -- June 21st, 2010 (Winston-Salem, NC) - Former U.S. Marine, Tammie Davis, now an up and coming Nashville Recording Artist and songwriter from Lincolnton, N.C., has released her single “Tall Dark and Lonesome’ to national radio.  'Tall Dark and Lonesome', now available on iTunes and Amazon.com, was produced by Nashville Producer, Bruce Watkins and engineered by Grammy Award Nominee and Nashville Sound Engineer, Ben Harris.

Davis served as a U.S. Marine at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia.  Davis was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal during her enlistment and performed duties as Quantico's pianist and vocalist.    In 2009, Davis was nominated for the Carolina Music Awards Female Country Artist of the Year and in December 2009 was named the Queen City Music Female Country Artist of the Year.  Davis’ song, “Tall Dark & Lonesome”, has received attention from Nashville music promoters and industry professionals and is now being released to national radio.  “Tall Dark and Lonesome” is part of Davis' debut CD, “It's A Beautiful Life”.  

In support of her new album Tammie is currently on a National Radio Tour to promote her new single.  She will be interviewed at radio stations in NC, SC, TN, GA, AL, VA, WV, AR, IL, IN, WI, IA and others as they are added.  The radio tour and promotion of “Tall Dark and Lonesome” is being coordinated by PCL Music International of Nashville, TN, a radio promotions company.  The tour started last week and will last until mid to late July 2010.  

We are also pleased to announced that the CD Release Party for “It’s A Beautiful Life” will be on July 24th, 2010 at the all new BOOMR’Z Restaurant & Bar in Winston-Salem, NC.
