Follow on Google News | Can-Am Sponsors New ATV Festival at NH’s Jericho Mountain State ParkCan-Am, the division of Bombadier Recreational Products, Inc. that manufactures and distributes ATVs, is the title sponsor for the Can-Am Jericho ATV Festival on July 10 and 11, which is being held in Jericho Mountain State Park in Berlin, NH.
By: Glen Group Two full days of family-friendly fun are planned for the free event, including ATV and trail bike activities, a Poker Run, guided tours, kids’ activities, demo rides on some of the latest Can-Am ATV models, on site food concessions, and much more. “We’ve received tremendous support from area businesses and ATV clubs,” continues Chris Gamache of the New Hampshire Trails Bureau, which is hosting the event. “In addition to Can-Am, the North Country’s largest ATV and side-by-side dealer, Absolute PowerSports of Gorham, New Hampshire, and Wells River, Vermont, has signed on as our presenting sponsor. Cannon Mountain, which is part of Franconia Notch State Park, is providing support for the event, as well. Other sponsors include Dalton Mountain Motorsports, Profile Powersports, Freedom Cycle and the National Guard—and without them all, it wouldn’t be possible to provide an event of this scope for free.” The event will run from 8am to 4pm on Saturday, July 10, and from 8am to 3pm on Sunday, July 11. The Can-Am Jericho ATV Festival is part of a key initiative designed to bolster and stabilize the economy of Coos County and establish it as an outdoor recreation center. It is being held at New Hampshire’s newest State Park. With 7,500 acres and more than 50 miles of scenic trails, Jericho Mountain State Park is designed to become a year-round off-highway recreational vehicle (OHRV) hub for the North Country region. Any ATV or trail bike that will be used only at the event— that is, within Jericho Mountain State Park, the Cross-City Trail and the Success Trail— will not need a New Hampshire registration during the Festival. Visit http://JerichoATVFestival.com for more information about the event, including parking facilities the days of the event. Jericho Mountain State Park is located off Route 110 West on Jericho Lake Road in Berlin, NH. As there is limited parking in the State Park, it’s recommended that those attending the Festival park in Berlin. Municipal parking will be available downtown on Cole Street, Pleasant Street and at Toudreau lot (between the bridges on Mason Street); these three lots are on the ATV trail that runs through downtown Berlin to Jericho Mountain State Park.
