Bakery equipment auction cooking up a storm

June 22, 2010 - PRLog -- The closure of bakery machinery dealer, DL Machinery, and a local bakery has enabled the online auction to take place on Wednesday 14 July 2010.

The competitive nature of the industry and challenging economic environment has led to an impressive response for the planetary and spiral mixers, dividers and moulders, ovens, pizza equipment, dicers and mincers, prover cabinets, metal detection and ancilliary bakery items offered.

Comprising over 100 lots, commercial bakers and food retailers will be keen to pick up a bargain, with Tom Chandley and other deck oven  products being one of the most popular.

Mark Flynn, managing director of Pro Auction, says:  “We have a vast range of commercial baking equipment available, including a Tom Chandley Compacta five deck 10 tray oven and a Chandley four deck 32 tray electric low crown oven, which are likely to fly.  Although we have a few specialist bakery online auctions lined up, opportunities to purchase first class equipment such as this, at a significantly reduced price, will be limited”.

Viewings are strictly by prior arrangement with the auctioneers, with assets located at Bath, Nottingham and London storage facilities.  All bids to be placed by 2pm GMT on Wednesday 14 July.  The auction will be held online at www.bidspotter.co.uk.
