The recently refurbished flagship studio, one of Wise Buddah’s five audio post-production suites, is fitted with LM100 metering, Dolby E capability and can layback to relevant HD decks. The client experience has also been improved with more seating and greater work-space for producers.
The newly-kitted studio moves Wise Buddah into new markets, enabling it to meet the exacting audio requirements of HD TV broadcasters and the demands of cinema pre-mixing.
The suite, which includes Pro Tools HD editing and a C24 mixing console, will be run on a day-to-day basis by the in-house engineering team including studio manager Dave Holt.
Freelancer Fabien Dudragne, a former audio supervisor and dubbing mixer at Technicolor, will also provide engineering, supervision and training services to ensure standards are high, especially for theatrical work.
Head of Studios, Dave Holt, who oversaw the project said, “This investment is not just about positioning us as a 5.1 provider, but has also been about improving the comfort and convenience of the studio for our clients.”
Wise Buddah managing director, Mark Goodier, commented, “Wise Buddah Studios have been committed to providing great audio facilities to our clients for over ten years. This move into 5.1 will enable us to provide an even wider range of services to new customers as well as to our existing clients.”
