The NetDocuments Channel Program is an effort for the web-based document and content management software vendor to deepen its reach into the legal and financial services markets, as well as reaching new segments and customers by partnerning with leading consulting firms, resellers, and third party business applications
such as CRM systems.
The program will allow for three levels of partnership dependent on the partners' core competencies and level of involvement with NetDocuments. The Program is designed to attract top-performing IT and business consultancies by offering a progressive compensation structure, including opportunties to earn ongoing (recurring) revenue in addition to the 20% to 50% initial commission. The recurring revenue model is a defining characteristic of the Software-as-
a-Service (SaaS) industry
, and NetDocuments believes this will attract the right type of partners.
The structure of the Channel Program includes: Affiliate Partners (AP), as a lead-generating relationship;
Consulting Partners (CP), offering their value-added services of training, implementation, and cofiguration to NetDocuments clients; and Business Services Partners (BSP), strategic partnerships with organizations who can provide end-to-end sales, implementation, and training of the NetDocuments' service.
