TWO LITTLE BIRDS GOES INTERNATIONAL WITH VOGUE

A local clothing boutique has been spotted by an internationally respected fashion magazine, and is now making its products accessible to the world!

Two Little Birds Vintage Boutique will appear in the August edition of Vogue, hitting the shelves on the 8th July.  Just 25 vintage clothing shops across the world are to be featured in a double page article about vintage and thrift stores, which runs twice each year and has been running for about 20 years.

Charlotte Foord, Senior Sales Executive for Vogue said, “We have a research team at Vogue dedicated to discovering new vintage boutiques across the world.  We found Two Little Birds on line and loved their clothes and lifestyle items.  The vintage boutique feature runs twice each year in Vogue and we look to include the best ones that we can uncover, with Two Little Birds a real gem of a find in Cornwall”.

The timing couldn’t be better with Two Little Bird’s improved website going live in July.  In addition to showcasing their clothes and products, the new website will enable browsers to buy on line, making them accessible to anyone, any time, anywhere.

Ella Seabourne co-owner of Two Little Birds with Emma Priest, said, “The next few weeks are an exciting time for Two Little Birds.  Our feature appears in Vogue and then our new website will go live.  Businesses in Cornwall work extremely hard to put themselves on the map, so it is very rewarding when you are approached by the likes of an internationally respected magazine such as Vogue, who have such lovely things to say about your business!”

Emma continued, “Ella and I are passionate about Two Little Birds being original, green and unique.  Being spotted by Vogue for their vintage feature shows that we are achieving our aims.  We love to meet people in our boutique in Falmouth but with the new website, people will be able to buy on line, making our products even greener as visiting wont be a necessity.”

Two Little Bird’s vintage clothing is unique, great quality and an environmentally friendly way to shop.  Each piece has a story to tell and by wearing it, customers are giving garments a second chance to shine.  As well as men’s and women’s vintage clothing, Two Little Birds also sells vintage accessories, gifts and home ware.

Ella Seabourne - aged 32 from Falmouth, and Emma Priest – aged 28 from Poole opened Two Little Birds on Webber Street in Falmouth last November.  Only just over 6 months old, the business is already soaring which Emma and Ella put down to their passion and previous experience in retail, as well as the eclectic mix of people in Falmouth and wider afield across Cornwall.
