Sean Richie Announces Economic Stimulus Package for all Public Service Professionals

June 21, 2010 - PRLog -- An economic stimulus package specifically benefitting public safety, service, and education professionals was announced this afternoon by Texas entrepreneur and business strategist, Sean Richie.  The primary focus of the stimulus plan is to provide substantial tax relief to government employees with the long-term vision of accelerating the recovery of the national economy.  

“This plan represents a major opportunity for all public service professionals to lower their income tax payments, increase their take-home pay, and contribute more in spending to revitalize our sluggish economy,” Mr. Richie said on an open press conference call.  “Every teacher, firefighter, police officer, postal worker, and all other public service professionals can qualify for this program and begin experiencing the financial benefits immediately. “

Mr. Richie’s vision is to empower public servants with the same economic relief that corporations, business owners, and the wealthiest 5% of the country have become accustomed to.  Initial estimates suggest that this stimulus strategy could save public service professionals an average of $5000 per year and infuse the struggling economy with between $50 and $250 billion annually.  

“The people that serve our country, teach our children, protect our cities, and keep our governmental systems moving deserve the same tax benefits that the upper-class and highly-paid government officials receive,” added Richie. “In fact, they NEED the money.  And they are far more likely to actually SPEND that money.  And isn’t that exactly what our economy needs right now?  More money in the hands of those that need and will spend it..?”

The plan calls for public safety, service and education employees to open home-based businesses to receive small-business tax credits.  Initial response to this plan has been extremely positive with thousands of teachers, law enforcement professionals, and firefighters certain to take advantage of this relief in the coming days and weeks.  During a brief question and answer session following the announcement, several educators and public safety officials applauded the program and promised to champion the cause within their jurisdictions.
