PRLog - Jun. 21, 2010 - LOS ANGELES -- LOS ANGELES, CA – June 21, 2010 – Having flawless skin like a Hollywood celebrity used to take countless trips to the dermatologist and hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.  The hassles of high doctor fees and time-consuming trips at the doctor’s office are no longer a requirement for effective skin care.  Launching on July 1, 2010, DermaShoppe.com’s mission is to provide a portal for skin care enthusiasts, both new and veterans, to learn and discover the best physician-dispensed products for their skin care regimen.  We want to take high-end, physician-grade products that celebrities use and make it accessible to everyone.
With the launch of DermaShoppe.com, skin care aficionados can browse, learn, and purchase high-end, high-quality physician-grade skin care products.  Under the direction of Medical Director, Dr. Charles Leroy, DermaShoppe.com was envisioned to be a place where skin care enthusiasts can learn and get tips on proper skin care.  “We understand that proper skin care is esoteric and can be difficult to gasp, so we wanted to create an environment where everyone can learn how to properly begin a skin care regimen that’s best for their skin type,” states Patrick Leroy, co-founder and CEO.  
A part of DermaShoppe’s mission is also to become a socially-conscious company by donating a part of proceeds to charitable causes such as breast, cervical, ovarian, and skin cancer foundations.  “We want to be more than just another retailer.  We want to give back to the organizations that matter most to our customers,” states Jimmy Nguyen, DemaShoppe’s co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer.  We understand that customers want their dollars to go toward social causes that are meaningful to them, and we strive to give back to the organizations that represent our customers.
DermaShoppe.com was formed by two friends, Patrick Leroy and Jimmy Nguyen, who are alumni of Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management.  The two friends found the need to provide a one-stop educational shopping experience for those who value the way their skin looks.  At DermaShoppe.com, we understand that life can be harsh sometimes, but your skin doesn’t have to be.
