Babcock Law Firm Adds New Colorado Workers’ Compensation Attorney

Vogel began working at the Denver workers’ compensation firm full-time on June 1st but has been working part-time in a limited role since October, 2009. He became fully licensed to practice law in Colorado in May after passing the state bar exam earlier in the year.

A native of Kansas, David Vogel had an interest in the law from a very early age. In 1993, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas State University in Political Science and Industrial Labor Relations with an emphasis in pre-law. From there, he began law school at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. During his law school career, Vogel placed high in appellate oral argument competitions and held officer positions in the Labor and Employment Law Society.

Upon graduating with his Juris Doctorate in 1997, Vogel became licensed to practice law in the state of Kansas and began working for two well known insurance defense firms in Wichita. He specialized in the fields of workers’ compensation, personal injury, labor and employment, federal civil rights and insurance coverage matters. He then moved to Topeka and practiced in workers’ compensation and construction law for several years.

The Babcock Law Firm’s newest workers’ compensation attorney holds active law licenses in Colorado and Kansas and is also licensed to argue cases before the Federal District Court in both states along with the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations.
