Two Kolesar & Leatham attorneys have been named by Super Lawyers magazine as top attorneys in Nevada for 2010 and three others have been recognized as Rising Stars.
Super Lawyers is a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Each year, the research team at Super Lawyers undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
This year, Kolesar & Leatham attorneys Nile Leatham and Georlen Spangler have been recognized as Super Lawyers from the Mountain States region in 2010 for the practice areas of “bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights” and “construction litigation.”
Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state – those who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

Rising stars are nominated by active peers, and their credentials reviewed by a research staff. According to Super Lawyers, while up to 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.
