Myths of Breast Cancer proven to be unscientific.

June 21, 2010 - PRLog -- There is myth that only women having a family history of breast cancer will have the more chances of getting Breast Cancer. Over 70% of the women were recognized with the breast cancer with no particular causes of the risk. The ancestry risks include if he/she who has the history of breast cancer is a first degree relative, the chances of getting the breast cancer will be doubles. If he/she has two first degree relatives the chances of risk will even more.

The second one is that draining an underwire bra will increases the chances of getting breast cancer. The truth is that it is not possible to get the breast cancer with the type of bra which you wear and there is no connection between the breast cancer and the type of bra and any under garments.

The next myth is that having lumps on the breast will be cancerous. Over 80% of the lumps on women’s breasts are happened by benign changes, cysts, or other circumstances. Doctors advise women to inform any changes at all in order to lower the chances of getting the breast cancer will be low.

The next myth is that revealing a tumor to air at the time of surgery causes cancer to spread. Actually, the fact is that the surgery doesn’t cause cancer or it will spread and it has proven scientifically. In some animals, there is a chance of spreading the cancer after removing the primary tumor but it is not applicable for the humans at all.

The last myth is that breast implants may increases the chances of getting cancer. The fact is that the women with breast implants are not at that much of risk of getting breast cancer. Standard mammograms won’t always work well on breast implanted women.
