This virus is renowned for redirecting your web searches to random websites, and causing pop-ups to show when you try and click search results. If you click a link from Google, it won't go to the target site straight away - it will go through Google.com first so the company can measure search levels & metrics for their ad network. The redirect virus injects malicious code to divert these redirects to random ads websites, and do it just by changing a few settings inside the browser files that your PC uses to run.

You need to use a special type of software which is able to scan through the various files this virus changes, and then let it fix the various problems that the infection has caused.
