FaiSTRADA introduces a new training course about Pixologic Z-Brush, from basic modeling to advanced sculpting. The training, only available online, has been produced by Daniele Angelozzi, one of the 14 Pixologic-certified Zbrush instructors in the world.
The training course is suitable for beginners and professionals alike, providing over 5 hours of detailed video lectures and all the resources needed to complete the project. The course syllabus includes z-spheres modeling, transposing, edge loops, a complete sculpting session and advanced UV texturing. Students will be able to produce a complete fantasy character from scratch, beginning with a 2D sketch and gradually improving their skills. As Daniele has been a guest speaker in Digital Sculpting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brera, Milan, he spends quite a lot of time teaching proper shape, form and composition as well as silhouette balance.
Just like all the FaiStrada trainings, this one builds upon 20 years of expertise in compositing post production and is mainly aimed towards artists with a firm desire to gain deeper knowledge in proper sculpting workflow, as well as software interchange, normal maps creation, displacement maps production. The training covers ZBrush 3.5, additional lessons are devoted to the most important plugins in Zbrush's toolset.
