Getting your 5 a day is tough especially if you are on the go. The easiest way to get your 5 a day is to drink it.
You will need a blender to make the drink.
Recipe:
· 2 Cups of Spinach (chop)
· 1 Cucumber (leave the skin on and chop)
· 2 Celery Stalks (chopped ~ include tops)
· 1 Bunch of wheat grass (chopped)
· 1 Bunch Parsley (chopped)
· 2 Apples (leave skins on remove core)
· Juice of 1 Lime or Lemon
Be sure to wash everything prior to preparing the contents for blending. Start the blending by putting about 1/2 cup of filtered water in blender, add lemon or lime juice, add cucumber, them combine all the remaining ingrediants slowly, a little at a time in a blender, this recipe makes about 1 days worth of servings of your vegetables and fruits. Drink throughout the day.
