LA-based Independent R&B Artist Stephen Lee Explores "Online" Connections With Debut Single

“Online” is an upbeat, catchy dance single that can make both baby boomers and millennials shake their moneymakers. It’s a song that laments the lack of personal connection when dating in the world of new media. "Online" hits July, 13, 2010.

June 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Independent singer/songwriter Stephen Lee may be old school, but the first single from his upcoming CD Old School. Reborn., entitled "Online" shows that he knows how to connect to listening audiences in the new school way.

In the song, Lee observes:
I just wanna spend some time / I’m not really into talking online, I’m not really into instant messenger, /A little bit of contact is what I prefer
But I guess I’ll / Connect on MySpace / Friend you on Facebook / I guess I’ll text you / Watch you on YouYube / Online, online

From reviewer Heath Andrews, http://www.reviewyou.com

“On his 2010 single, ‘Online,’ Lee combines his beautiful voice with the sounds of technologically polished R&B that incorporates digitized self-harmony effects and thumping beats.”

A skilled songwriter, storyteller and multi-instrumentalist, Lee is back in the music game after a health-based hiatus. After dealing with type 1 diabetes for many years, Lee was diagnosed in 2007 with a chronic heart condition that eventually led to heart surgery. The experience has only emboldened him to make the most of his music career. From those dark days comes the soulful Old School. Reborn this Fall.

“Online” hits iTunes and other digital distributors on July 13, 2010.
