The Everyday SuperStar TV Show featuring YOU

June 18, 2010 - PRLog -- June 18th 2010 –  Long Beach, CA. –  After touring the globe, sharing inspiring songs from Japan to Melbourne to the Hollywood Bowl,  Long Beach resident & Emmy-winning Singer/Songwriter, Faith Rivera is ready to use music in a whole new, interactive way on the Oprah network!  Rivera’s vision is to launch “The Everyday SuperStar Show” on Oprah’s new network, OWN, and plans to do so by racking up votes for her audition video on Oprah’s “Next TV Star” website.  

Encouraged by Rivera’s husband, Nolan Hee, they made last minute plans to submit their show idea and was grateful for the group of local everyday superstars, including youth ambassadors from the International Peace Choir, who showed up for the audition video taping.  The filming took place at Long Beach hair salon & dance studio, Shear Rhythm, who generously donated their unique space to create this empowering video.  

As seen on Rivera’s audition reel, “The Everyday SuperStar Show” will feature everyday folks (moms, kids, grandmas, shower-singers to closet dancers) using music, singing & dancing as a way to unleash the Everyday SuperStar within!  Imagine a big reveal show Glee-style - just like all your favorite reality singing & dancing shows, but this time, you can participate too!  Supported by Rivera, viewers will learn songs & dances, take challenges & musical firewalks, learn from experts & ultimately grow with each other in being more their “super” self – expressing more freely, facing their fears, & having fun through music!  

Rivera believes "Everyone deserves a standing ovation!"  So as the votes roll in & Oprah takes notice, Rivera says “Get ready to take the stage of your life & sing, dance, & shine!” Maybe you’ll even be a featured guest on “The Everyday SuperStar Show.”
