My love affair with the beach

If there’s one place I’d rather be, it would be the beach. I cannot explain the fascination and passion I have for the beach.

June 18, 2010 - PRLog -- If there’s one place I’d rather be, it would be the beach. I cannot explain the fascination and passion I have for the beach. I love everything associated with the beach. I love the sand beneath my feet that seem to tickle me. I love the feeling of cool water as they touch and caress my skin. I love the sun’s heat in contrast to the coolness of the water. I love the sound of the waves as they come crashing down – they’re the perfect lullaby. The beauty of the beach simply stuns me.

When I travel to beaches, I don’t often go to places that have been developed and modernized with hotels and resorts. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not against putting up decent lodging so one can enjoy the place but I like my beaches untainted, unspoiled and as is. What I’m entirely up against is those who are out to destroy these magnificent creations. The current environmental issues pertaining to water pollution have been alarming. In one of my trips to the beach, I even saw plastic bags afloat. It’s so sad that people have forgotten all about environment conservation and environmental awareness. However, this doesn’t stop me from exploring more undiscovered beaches our country has to offer. In fact, it can help in my move towards protecting the environment. By being active in environmental movements, I can do my share and help.

The beach is one of the best places in earth and I will continue to pursue this love affair I have for the beach without ever forgetting to save the environment in the process. (http://500bc.com/)
