Follow on Google News | Reporters and Crew Needed to Cover the Gulf Coast CrisisCravatt Productions is seeking volunteers to help with the youtube coverage of the Gulf Coast Crisis and interviewing local residents and small business owners.
This small three person crew consists of Cravatt Productions owner, Marguerite Cravatt, Major Films owner, Paul Major, and their cameraman, Tony Caiola. The trio seek volunteers to help out along the way. They are operating on a zero budget, and they have no finacial backing nor any sponsorship. When asked about the financial risks involved, Marguerite Cravatt responded, "Everything happened so quickly and got out of hand so fast that we didn't have time to shop for funding, so we decided to shoot now and sell later. This is not trying to profit from a disaster. This area is my home. I have been shooting on these beaches since my first camera. This is my family history, and I plan to record this horrific change in the environment and the impact it has already had on my family and my neighbors." To follow the team visit them online, or if you would like to volunteer, participate, or speak out contact them at www.cravatt.com or write on their wall at facebook, or watch their videos at youtube, or get instant tweets from twitter - just type in gulfcoastjourney. # # # Cravatt Productions is a video production company is traveling from Los Angeles to Louisiana to video the condtions and upload videos to youtube.
