UNIQLO and Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH are offering fans of the METAL GEAR SOLID series a chance to play the latest instalment; METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER in the UNIQLO Oxford Street flagship store as from today.
Developed specifically for the PSP™ system, METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER is the next true chapter in the story of legendary special ops expert, Snake (a.k.a. Big Boss), and acts as a direct sequel to Kojima’s previously released Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Taking full advantage of the PSP™ format, METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER takes the series in an exciting new direction with incredible visuals, as it sheds new light on well-known adversaries and allies, along with a wealth of new characters.
Series creator Hideo Kojima and lead artist Yoji Shinkawa will be visiting UNIQLO’s London flagship store on Oxford Street, on Saturday 19 June, where they will be signing copies of METAL GEAR SOLID: PEACE WALKER and exclusive postcards from 11:00am - 1:00pm. But, with the game on sale from June 18 2010, UNIQLO customers will be able to enjoy a chance to go hands-on via special pods containing the game from June 10 to 19 2010. In accordance with the game’s BBFC rating, players must be over 15.
