The business is one of just four showrooms in the UK to be presented with a Renault Global Quality Award, highlighting the company’s impressive ongoing commitment to providing the highest levels of customer service to people looking to buy used cars and new vehicles.
Telephone interviews were conducted with new car sales and aftersales customers in order to gauge satisfaction levels. This led directly to The Co-operative Motor Group’s Renault Blackpool dealership being recognised as the best improver in customer satisfaction for 2009.
Mark Favell, dealer principal at Renault Blackpool which sells new and used cars, was presented with the award by Mark Crockett, a director of service and quality at Renault, during a ceremony at the dealership on Amy Johnson Way.
Favell said: “The whole team here has worked extremely hard on ensuring that our customers receive the very best service.
“As anyone who drives a Renault car knows, there have been huge improvements in build quality and we are proud that our customer service is matching this level that customers quite rightly expect.
“The team is thrilled to receive the Renault Global Quality Award and it is a fitting reward for their 100 per cent dedication and hard work.”
Crockett added: “Car dealers such as The Co-operative Motor Group set the standard for representatives of the brand on a day-to-day basis and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their commitment to quality.”
