Cheree Miller wins “Be InCharge of Your Debt” contest

InCharge Debt Solutions announced that Cheree Miller of Russellville, Arkansas has won its first-ever “Be InCharge of Your Debt” contest.  The lucky winner will have up to $10,000 of her unsecured credit card debt paid by InCharge and its contest sponsors. The competition was held in celebration of Financial Literacy Month 2010 (April) and in conjunction with the “Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure Act (or Credit CARD Act) of 2009.”  The sponsoring organizations included:

Entrants were required to complete an e-learning personal finance literacy course, “Mind Your Finances,” and submit a video response about what they learned from the course that will help them become financially empowered and “InCharge”of their debt.  Ms. Miller’s video, which she called “Cheree takes charge,” was selected from videos chosen by the general public to be the top contenders.
