Brynwood's new ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests
ARMONK, NY – Brynwood Golf & Country Club celebrated the completion of its newly renovated Clubhouse with a gala grand opening reception held June 10th and attended by more than 400 people including local officials, news media and Brynwood members.
The overflow crowd feasted on fine cuisine prepared by Brynwood’s Executive Chef Jean-Marc Cabirol while dancing to Beatles music performed by Strawberry Fields of the Broadway hit Beatlemania.
“Tonight’s celebration is yet another important milestone as we move forward in establishing Brynwood Golf & Country Club as THE country club of choice for area residents and families looking for outstanding golf and tennis, world-class facilities, first-rate food and beverage and a host of amenities and programs for the entire family,” said Donald DeMasters, General Manager of Brynwood Golf & Country Club.
“The response we’ve received from the area community in the past few months has been truly phenomenal. With the completion of our newly renovated Clubhouse, we anticipate a significant increase in activity for our weddings, bar/bat mitzvah and special events business,” Mr. DeMasters added.

Formerly known as the Canyon Club, the 160-acre property was acquired last December by new owners who renamed it Brynwood Golf & Country Club and hired Troon Golf, the world’s preeminent golf management company, to professionally manage the Club. Troon Golf manages more than 200 golf courses in 31 states and 26 countries.

There is also an outdoor cocktail terrace overlooking the redesigned pool area, golf course and surrounding hills that showcase dramatic sunsets and panoramic views. The Clubhouse also features a business center with Mac stations, a fully equipped fitness center and a children’s game room with movie theater seating, game tables and video games.
In addition to major upgrades to the Club’s facilities, Brynwood is also redefining the country club dining experience in Westchester with the recent appointment of a new world-class culinary team led by Executive Chef Jean-Marc Cabirol. Chef Cabirol comes to Byrnwood from La Panetiere in Rye where as Executive Chef he led the renowned restaurant to the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award in each year of his tenure. Chef Cabirol will soon unveil a “farm-to-table”
