Werzalit Table Tops Available from Prestige Products

June 15, 2010 - PRLog -- Werzalit Duratop table tops are now available from Prestige Products.

The Duratop is manufactured in Germany by Werzalit, using their worldwide patented manufacturing process. This process is used to create many different shapes and sizes of durable, weatherproof, inexpensive and attractive table tops in a variety of traditional and modern designs including woodgrain, stone, colours, patterns and combinations.

The foundation of each Duratop is a mix of high quality hardwoods and softwoods, which are kiln-dried before being blended with synthetic resins, as well as anti-rot and anti-moisture agents. This mixture is compressed at 140ºC under high pressure before the hardwearing and decorative layers are applied and inseparably moulded together. This method produces high quality table tops which are seamless, hygienic, functional and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Werzalit also has a manufacturing plant in Turkey. The Gentas table tops are manufactured in the Turkish plant under license.
