New research commissioned by the UK’s leading discount website, http://www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk has revealed the top 10 best celebrity dads. 73% agreed that David Beckham is one of the best celebrity dads, 68% felt Brad Pitt deserved the title, while 64% said Peter Andre.
The research of 1,391 people across the UK was commissioned by http://www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk as Father’s Day is just around the corner.
According to the study commissioned by http://www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk the top ten best celebrity dads are:
1. David Beckham – 73%
2. Brad Pitt – 68%
3. Peter Andre – 64%
4. Will Smith– 61%
5. Jamie Oliver – 59%
6. Chris Martin – 54%
7. David Cameron – 52%
8. Johnny Depp – 48%
9. Tom Cruise – 36%
10. Jeff Brazier– 34%
When asked the multi-answer question, ‘why do you think this celebrity is the best dad?’ 58% agreed that David Beckham is a great dad because he is ‘committed to his family’; while 21% think it his ‘kind nature’ that makes him a good father.
Almost half, 49%, of those that agreed Jamie Oliver was one of the best celebrity dad’s said it is because of his cooking, while 16% think it his ‘humour’ that makes him the best dad.
More than 1 in 5, 23%, think David Cameron is a great dad because he is a ‘good role model’ as well as being a family man.
The research shows that a third, 34%, of those asked agree that Peter Andrea is a ‘loyal’ dad and 61% ‘feel sorry for him’ since his public split from ex-wife Katie Price. A further 21% said Katie Price’s new husband, Alex Reid, ‘wasn’t a threat’ to Peter Andre as a father.
Due to their appearance together in the film, The Pursuit of Happiness, 46% believe that Will Smith is one of the best celebrity dads because he appears to ‘have a close bond’ with his son.

“With Father’s Day just around the corner I think it is only right to ask the British public who they think are the best celebrity dads. I think the reasons people have chosen are true, for example when Will Smith appeared in a film with his son, it really was a wonderful thing to watch.
