Ruinedmyday.com is a website that exists to catalogue what ruins people's day. Individual users can post anonymously about people, things, or events that have made a good day into a bad day, and categorize them accordingly. By having an anonymous posting system we allow for more unique and expressive posts as people will not have to fear reprisal, and every individual post is previewed (and edited as necessary) by hand.
Ruinedmyday.com also has a comments section to allow people to comment on other's posts, as well as a share button that allows visitors to spread their favorite posts across the internet (through tweeting, email, facebook, etc.). Ruinedmyday.com has a RSS feed which allows people to be automatically updated when new posts are approved and added to the website. All in all, it's a cool place to go, gripe about stuff, and generally browse around.
www.Ruinedmyday.com is the brainchild of a couple of college students who had a string of misfortune happen to them, but had no outlet to vent through. This website provides that outlet. Ruinedmyday is based on a simple Wordpress platform which is not only secure, but compatible with a majority of browsers, and is not resource-intensive.
