artist Jack Vettriano has released a new set of limited edition canvas prints on Photogold.co.uk . The featured images are Days of Wine and Roses , the Look of Love , Man of Mystery and Only the deepest red II. Jack Vettriano's latest exhibition, ‘Days Of Wine And Roses‘, opened at the Kirkcaldy Museum & Art Gallery in Fife in March 2010 before transferring to London and then on to Milan. Vettriano decided to premiere his exhibition at the Kirkcaldy Museum because it is in his home town where he spent many of his childhood years.Four new limited edition prints – Days of Wine and Roses and the Look of Love are also published

Vettriano's new collaboration is with David Knopfler, founding member of Dire Straits. He has allowed his painting of the Drifter to be used as the album cover. Glasgow born Knopfler’s first book of poetry, “Blood Stones and Rhythmic Beasts” was released earlier this year by Blackwing Books.The album’s cover features a painting , The Drifter , generously supplied by Scotland’s most successful living artist, Jack Vettriano. Jack Vettriano’s The Singing Butler” made a special guest appearance in Trafalgar Square , London for a unique personal appearance . Riding an elephant . In fact a whole herd appeared . The life-size model herd was the idea of the Elephant Family The market for Jack Vettriano is very strong at the moment . His new exhibition in Kirkcaldy is an outstanding success with details about to be announced about his London exhibition.
Along Came A Spider is one of his most popular paintings . The original painting was bought by Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson for £130,000.
In 2004 a classic set of eight limited edition silkscreens were published - Along Came a Spider , Game of Life ,Parlour of Temptation , Table for One , Altar of memory , Words of Wisdom , Models in the Studio and Drifters. They are highly collectible and many of these prints are now sold out.
