Boston's Heart-throb Pop Rock Band ONE STEP AWAY Gives Fans a Sneak Peak of their Upcoming Album

June 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Just days ahead of hitting the road to record their new full-length album, One Step Away gives fans a sneak peak of their upcoming album at the New North Music Hall on June 19, 2010 at 7pm.   With gorgeous melodic vocals soaring over precision rock riffs and dynamic stage performances, they amaze their audiences and leave them begging for more.  Opening for One Step Away is recent songwriting award winner:  Closer Than We Appear.

One Step Away is not your average rock quartet.  Hailing from Boston, these award-winning young musicians have been called the "next big thing."   One Step Away began in 2006, morphing to become the young phenom they are today.  With hundreds of performances in a variety of venues from Foxwoods MGM Grand to Boston City Hall Plaza, radio and TV, they are no stranger to the demands of the stage and the music industry.  One Step Away is comprised of Adam Carrington (Lead Vocals), Terence Healy (Lead Guitar), Mike Nuzzolo (Bass/Vocals) and Ben Trudeau (Drums), coming together from multiple towns and schools in the Boston area.  

One Step Away has appeared on multiple radio and TV stations  including FOX, WBZ, WBSK, WPXT, WNAC, WSBK,WCTX, HCTV, My R.I. TV and WWLP.   Things really started for One Step Away with their capture of the 2008 Boston Music Festival Alternative Rock Genre award for performance of their original songs.  In 2009 and 2010, they continue to win more accolades in New England and nationally in band battles and showcases, including winning four episodes of the TV Talent Showcase Community Auditions, earning them a position in the season finals which aired earlier this year.  

Prior to now they have produced two EPs of 100% original materials.  Having  now spent many weeks working via Skype with their Record Producer, they hit the road in just a few days to record many new songs and put a refreshing twist on a couple of their older ones.   On June 19, 2010 at the New North Music Hall, One Step Away treats their fans to a preview of new songs on their upcoming album.  Closer Than We Appear, recent winners of the 2010 Southshore Conservatory Songwriters Contest will open for One Step Away.  

With their new album in hand later this summer, One Step Away will be touring nationally this summer in a variety of venues across the United States, including Six Flags Amusement Parks, Universal Studios and Whisky A-Go-Go in Hollywood.
