Clarke Represents Free Enterprise, Smaller, Less Government and Individualism.

Toronto's 200,000 bylaws regulations and left leaning ideologies of 25 years have attempted to micro-managing personal choices and freedoms down to the level of a soft drink, french fry or salt when there are families that aren't eating must end..

June 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Parents do not force their children to eat food they don't want to eat from time to time but Toronto council as a government wants to control our lifestyles by dictating what we eat, drink and think under the guise of taking care of us.

Such dictatorial fascism of left leaning ideologies for the masses because some people might lack "Self-control" must not be allowed to replace personal choice and freedoms of rugged individualism by incumbent councillors.

Toronto has a fiscal crisis which is NOT cause by what we eat but the out of control and  chronic spending habits by incumbent councillors promoting such left leaning ideologies for the past 25 years.

No longer should voters allow food as a new political chic and eating as a morality at the direct expense of individualism or family’s freedom of choice.
In Toronto as elsewhere when unemployment rises we here a call for government to “do something”.

Doing something refers to more taxpayer money for sporting clubs, community centers, and the never ending and always increasing outreach programs.

Quite frankly these elements are not the domain of government. None of these feel-good measures get at the root of joblessness.

Such matters are not helped with the cradle-to-grave socialistic subsidies or by protest riots as we have seen in Europe and now witnessing south of the border.

Protests, riots, civil disobedience or strikes that demand our government send subsidy checks and welfare payments will not solve our fiscal crisis or pay the bills for essential costs required in a free market system or a socialist communist one as history has shown.

Individuals must take full responsibility for their own actions and abilities throughout life as there are no guarantees and to think otherwise or that the others owe you one is an unrealistic begging practice.

Peter CLARKE is of the opinion that we must introduce accountability and responsibilities into the system and watch people not have as much time on their hands to protest, riot, strike and complain for others to look after them through unsustainable taxpayer handouts.

Government can indeed play a role in helping to lower the unemployment but it is not the sole answer.  If we stopped outrageously over regulating, taxing and bullying businesses but rather started encouraging them we would see a dramatic turn of events throughout Toronto.

Incumbents like to label themselves as progressive this or that for improving society as everyone would be for this!

However for voters it’s my opinion it depends on what each individual person believes constitutes a better society and at what costs.

Not only in terms of dollars and redistribution of wealth but at what costs to families and individuals in terms of reduced or controlled personal choices and freedoms.

Peter CLARKE with the enthusiasm, energy of passion for change and determination all with the common sense, advice and support of the taxpayers has until September 10 to put his name forward to the voters of Toronto North York ward 23 for a seat on Toronto’s Metro Council for this year’s election on October 25, 2010.

CLARKE already has a very detailed campaign mission platform of 10 plus for 2010 which is outlined on his web site @  http://peterclarketoronto.com    which if implemented would save Toronto taxpayers close to $300 Million dollars.

Peter believes in the following principles for his life and all campaign:
I. Peter believes in God as the Centre of his life.
II. Families united are sacred and the ultimate authority, NOT governments.
III. Governments work for US, We do not answer to them, as they must always answer to us the people.

Toronto One City, Your Vote, Our Future Together, Begins on October 25, 2010 with your support throughout the North York Community.
